Finding The Light In The Cracks: Community Workers Leaning And Leading Into 2021
In December 2020, Community Praxis Co-op held a Thinkery to process and reflect on 2020 and lean into 2021. Focusing on the impacts of COVID19, climate justice, and the surveillance state, the Thinkery led participants to reflect on how they made sense of 2020, what got them through the difficult times of the year, what choices they made and setting intentions for 2021.
...“a Thinkery is basically one element in the process of articulation, how you articulate ideas. It's how to talk about ideas that you do not have. You cannot really say the thing because the idea is not there. It is around but you need to capture it by talking with others, in that relation and that interaction with others. That is one very important element of a Thinkery”. (Community Development Journal, Volume 50, Issue 3, July 2015, Pages 529–534).
