Community Praxis Co-op

Community Praxis Co-op in partnership with Contact Inc., Sunnybank High School & Kyabra Community Association is currently working on a youth peace project in the Sunnybank area of Brisbane. This is a pilot initiative working with young people from a number of cross-cultural backgrounds around issues of conflict, racism, dialogue and development.

During 2002 Community Praxis Co-op is facilitating 21 community-based training initiatives within Brisbane & Caboolture known as "Building Better Communities" and "Community Animators Training Strategy". Community Praxis Co-op is a not-for-profit workers' cooperative offering professional services in:

Community Praxis Co-op was established in December 1998 by a group of community development colleagues who live in Brisbane and have worked together over the past 12 years. There are currently six members of the co-op and a network of more than fifty colleagues who have worked together on a range of projects.
